As I pointed out in yesterday's live music post, Pete Dohorty, formerly of the Libertines, was arrested on drug possession charges yesterday. The kicker this time? He was in court facing another charge of drunk driving, when during the mandatory frisk upon entering the court, an alleged drug wrap fell from his pocket. In basic terms: dude brought heroin into court with him. Dumb, dumb, dumb.
How is this guy still alive? Is there some Weekend At Bernie's stuff going on? He looks sorta peaced in that pic, but I think he is walking on his own. And even if he is alive, why is he not in jail? Apparently in England, rockers get the same special treatment that sports stars get in America, because supposedly he had 21 prior drug charges. Not to mention how terrible the dude looks. Is this the same guy who used to date Kate Moss and was kinda hot in the strange, artsy musician way? Now he's all clammy and scabby. Damn. This guy needs to be on Intervention ASAP.
